Having two is hard. Real hard. I have mad love for these two but... WOW. Hip Hip Hooray to those moms out there with a lot of kids. Things have been busy. Simone is an absolute joy. I can't believe she is already a month old! Dylan is really sweet to her and is super helpful! Dylan can sing "Jesus Want Me For a Sunbeam" so good! She can sing most of the words by herself. Its adorable. We are excited for Christmas. I think it will be extra fun this year since D knows about Santa and Jesus. She will love her gifts.

Happy Birthday Simone
I know this post is kind of out of order but I thought I would write these thoughts down while they are still fresh in my mind. I decided to get induced so Dr. Winward made the appointment. It was supposed to be tuesday the 24th but labor and delivery was so busy! So, the 25th was going to be the day. Well, I have an awesome friend and neighbor who got me in tuesday, YAY! They called me and said to be there at 8 pm to get started. I got there and we went right in and got hooked up to the pitocin. I asked for the epidural shortly after...only dialated to a 2 and in minor pain. I know, I sound like a baby. I am. Anyway, my doctor came in and broke my water and I was ready to push at 3:30ish am. It went rather fast, I thought. Her head was visible almost the first push and she was not in the right direction. The Doc tried and tried to turn her face down but she was pretty tight in the pelvis. So finally after twenty five minutes of pushing my nurse, Pearl, got on the bed with me and pushed down on my stomach as hard as she could. She pushed her shoulders under my pubic bone and there she was! My beautiful little cone head! No, really. It was really long...her head. Dr. Winward told me that it would not be a good idea for me to deliver a baby over 7 pounds again. So maybe earlier with the next one? What a good experience. The recovery has been really fast. I love my little baby girl so much. Why people don't want kids is really a mystery to me. As much of a pain it can be, it is so amazing and worth every single headache!
Simone,
You are so sweet. I am so happy you made it here safe. I feel like you have been with us forever. I love you so much and am so blessed that Heavenly Father sent you to our home. Please know that your family loves you so much and we are all here for you.
Love, Mom

Waiting
So today is the day. Or tomorrow I guess. Just got a call from the hospital saying they are so so busy. Lots of babies being born. They told me they will probably call me to come get induced before the night is over. Crazy. I am not anxious. I am actually calm. I had a really good day with my mom, sister, and my bff, Dylan. We went to Sees chocolates. We went to Barnes and Noble for a while. We finished getting things ready for our Thanksgiving dinner we are having on Friday. Its been so nice to have the company while I get ready. Thanks girls. See you soon Simone.

One More
I layed by my darling tonight and this is how it went down. She wanted to read 5 books. Lights out. Sing "Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam. She said "mommy, tiko arm (tickle her arm.) She then closed her sweet eyes and relaxed into a deep sleep. How cute... and what 20 month old knows it feels good to get your arm tickled?

Dog Food.
Why is it that my child cannot keep her guilty little fingers off of the dog food? No matter what I do. No matter how many time outs. Not only does she literally eat it for a snack (everyday), she has recently started carry the glass bowls all over the house and outside the house (through the doggy door.) It spills everywhere. Please Dylan, realize you are HUMAN. Leave the kibble alone. That would be great.

Its time. (Shelby)
Hello. I am actually going to post about this pregnancy, finally. It went by so fast that I just never got around to it. I am really excited to meet the new little one. She will be gracing us with her sweet presence in one week. I had an amazingly easy pregnancy and I think that also is the reason it went by so fast. I feel so lucky to have had this experience once again. I am looking forward to Dylan and her sister getting to be besties. I love my sisters more than I can say and I just hope they will be as fortunate. My thoughts are this:
How am I going to do TWO?
What will she look like?
I hope the flabby-ness comes off fast.
Am I patient enough?
Simone Fackrell...whats her middle name going to be?
I love Simone. The baby and the name.
Nursing? Whoa, thats overwhelming.
I am so happy to be having another girl...the prep has been a breeze.
I need to clean.
Christmas time with my two angels and great husband...ahhh.
PLEASE heavenly father, send me a good baby. Dylan was a pure joy.
Dear Simone, I can't wait to meet you. Daddy and I are counting down the days. You have so many people that love you already! Please come safe and be healthy. A warning...your sister is a little overwhelming. She loves babies and she may try to maul you. I will protect you. She already says "Monie! Come Out!" We love you baby girl. Love MOM

The Cutest Fairy
Dylan is so cute. There are like a million pictures I could post but I won't. I think she is the most adorable thing. I wasn't going to brag but, this lady started sleeping in a big girl bed last night. She did wonderfully. She didn't even try to get out. Tonight she went to bed great. Hopefully this is how it will always be. Cross your fingers for me. I love love my little D. She talks non stop and suprises me everyday at how smart she is. Man, these little ones really catch on fast.
I hope she will teach her little sister. I hope they will be the best of friends. Sisters are an amazing gift.

Fall
We went to the pumpkin patch and let Dylan pick out her very own pumpkin. She loved it. My camera is a piece so this was the only pic I got. Sad. Hopefully next year I will have a better one. I need a better one. I will have two kids to document. I will have two kids in like a month. Not sure I am ready. This is her pumpkin

New Bike
This little girl totally talked me into this adorable purchase today at Target. She wanted it so BAD and I decided to go ahead and give in. I will only have one kid for like a few more weeks. The bomb weather also made me do it. long walks made easy with the parent control steering handle. What a freaking doll right?

My Eighteen Month Old Lady.
18 months appointment:
23 pounds 9 ounces
32 inches tall
This little lady was an absolute angel baby at the doctors today. She totally hammed it up for all the nurses and even said "thank you, bye doctor" to Dr. Nygaard. She is so sweet and loves to be a big help around the house. I can't believe she is already 18 mo. Where did the time go? Dylan is all girl. She fusses if she gets dirt on her hands or feet, she loves chapstick and makeup and will comb your hair anytime. Soon she will be sleeping in a big girl bed, wearing panties full time and will be the best big sister to Simone! Dylan loves to sing "the wheels on the bus" and "popcorn popping." She repeats everything you say...so watch out. Here are some recent pics...
