Two

My baby is two. I can't believe two years have gone by since I had this sweet little one. Dylan is such a joy. We love her so much and cannot imagine life without her. Dylan is one smart girl. She knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. Dylan is so sweet and loves to give kisses and cuddles. Some fun things about D...
-She is a great singer and dancer.
-She loves her aunties, uncles, grandmas, papas and cousin.
-Daddys girl
-She has really good manners. Says "please" and "thank you"
-She is poop trained. (working on #1)
-Loves her big girl panties. They are Dora of course.
-Talks really well
-Dylan is easily persuaded by candy or treats.
-Wonderful big sister.
-Loves Simone. She lays by her and holds her hand.
-Social butterfly. She is always saying hello. Especially to kids. When we are outside and she sees the neighbor kids she hollars "Hi kids!"
-Darling as ever and loves to get dresses up for church or whatever.
-Loves her new swingset. She talks about it all day.
-She loves popsicles.
- Knows all my friends names. Hi Lou, Hi Mitney...etc.
-Dylan has a GREAT memory! If you tell her you will do something, you better deliver.
-She loves dogs.
-She is my little friend and love to go "with you" anywhere.
-Loves to go to work with daddy.
There are a million things I could say about this little angel baby. If you know her you know what I mean. Dylan really is such a cute little thing. I am so thankful for her. I am thankful that Heavenly Father let me have her. I am one lucky mommy.
Dylan We love you so much sweet heart. Happy Birthday!
Love Mom and Dad.

A Little Late...

This year Christmas was wonderful.A new baby, an almost two year old familiar with Santa and some delicious Williams Sonoma hot choc. We started out at our house where Santa left Dylan her kitchen...she loved it! We then headed down to the LVon Christmas afternoon to spend some time with my family. We had a Christmas tea party with Grandma and papa didnt dissapoint with the gift of play dough for D. We had a great time and even got to catch matts family on their way down to Disneyland. Thanks to all for the wonderful gifts. Did I mention Matt got me and amazing new camera? He did. What a sweetie. The Christmas spirit was strong and we thank thee for all we have!

Newborn Angel

Simone did not enjoy her shoot. She was really unhappy, infact. D was also on a roll. I wish there were more of the sisters...maybe next time. Thanks for being so patient Staci.
I just love my little ones.
I just realized I havent posted Christmas yet. Busy Busy. Soon.

My friend Lindsey took some family/preg pictures for us right before Simone was born. Hard to believe that was like two months ago! Look what a doll I have! Dylan is so cute and fun.

Mad Love

Having two is hard. Real hard. I have mad love for these two but... WOW. Hip Hip Hooray to those moms out there with a lot of kids. Things have been busy. Simone is an absolute joy. I can't believe she is already a month old! Dylan is really sweet to her and is super helpful! Dylan can sing "Jesus Want Me For a Sunbeam" so good! She can sing most of the words by herself. Its adorable. We are excited for Christmas. I think it will be extra fun this year since D knows about Santa and Jesus. She will love her gifts.

Merry Christmas to everyone! Hope all is well.

Happy Birthday Simone

I know this post is kind of out of order but I thought I would write these thoughts down while they are still fresh in my mind. I decided to get induced so Dr. Winward made the appointment. It was supposed to be tuesday the 24th but labor and delivery was so busy! So, the 25th was going to be the day. Well, I have an awesome friend and neighbor who got me in tuesday, YAY! They called me and said to be there at 8 pm to get started. I got there and we went right in and got hooked up to the pitocin. I asked for the epidural shortly after...only dialated to a 2 and in minor pain. I know, I sound like a baby. I am. Anyway, my doctor came in and broke my water and I was ready to push at 3:30ish am. It went rather fast, I thought. Her head was visible almost the first push and she was not in the right direction. The Doc tried and tried to turn her face down but she was pretty tight in the pelvis. So finally after twenty five minutes of pushing my nurse, Pearl, got on the bed with me and pushed down on my stomach as hard as she could. She pushed her shoulders under my pubic bone and there she was! My beautiful little cone head! No, really. It was really long...her head. Dr. Winward told me that it would not be a good idea for me to deliver a baby over 7 pounds again. So maybe earlier with the next one? What a good experience. The recovery has been really fast. I love my little baby girl so much. Why people don't want kids is really a mystery to me. As much of a pain it can be, it is so amazing and worth every single headache!

Simone,
You are so sweet. I am so happy you made it here safe. I feel like you have been with us forever. I love you so much and am so blessed that Heavenly Father sent you to our home. Please know that your family loves you so much and we are all here for you.
Love, Mom
